About College

The college under the umbrella of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha is a prominent and esteemed institution in India. It was established in 1970 and is located in Shrirampur, Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra. The college operates as a Grant-in-Aid institution and is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It holds the prestigious 2f and 12b status from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has obtained permanent affiliation from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune.

The college offers a two-year regular B.Ed. program, which is designed to prepare aspiring teachers for their professional careers. Currently, the college accommodates a single unit of 50 student teachers. Additionally, the college provides skill and career-oriented education through seven short-term courses and seven add-on/certificate courses, enhancing the learning opportunities for students.

Throughout its journey, the college has achieved notable milestones and earned recognition for its excellence in teacher preparation. It has trained over 5000 student teachers who have gone on to make significant contributions in various fields, including established educational institutions and government sectors. The college has received an ‘A’ grade accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in both the 2004 and 2014 assessment cycles, signifying its commitment to quality education. It has also been honored with the Excellence Award by the management of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, SPPU Pune, and Jilha Parishad Ahmednagar.
