Board of Student’s Developement
The Vision of the Swami Sahajanand Bharati College of Education is student centric. The Board of Students’ Development (BSD) truly represents this vision that is multidimensional as well as multifaceted. Savitribai Phule Pune University established this board with the aim of fostering student development. It looks after the protection of rights and supervises the Development activities of the students of the college. BSD promotes and co-ordinates the different students’ activities for better corporate life. BSD tries to nurture students’ mental, physical, cultural growth with various activities to improve their overall personality development and to make them civilized Indian citizens to compete in the globalized world.
The Board has been operational at the college since the academic year 2005-06. Following schemes are introduced and effectively implemented through the board in last five years:

- Padma Bhushan Dr. Karmveer Bhaurao Patil Earn and Learn Scheme: This initiative allows students to earn while learning, offering a compensation of Rs. 45 per hour per student. (For more details click here)
- Student Personality Development: This scheme involves organizing three expert lectures every year to enhance students’ personality development. (For more details click here)
- Special Guidance Scheme: This scheme involves organizing a series of guidance lectures aimed at providing special assistance to students. (For more details click here)
- Fearless Girls Campaign (Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan): This program focuses on empowering female students by delivering three lectures and training sessions to equip them with self-defence skills. (For more details click here)
- Entrepreneurship Camp: Students participate in this camp, where they receive guidance from an experienced entrepreneur. This guidance includes identifying entrepreneurial opportunities, receiving direction, and exploring potential business ventures. (For more details click here)
